Defining Kohanaiki’s luxury identity on Hawai‘i’s Kona Coast

Kohanaiki, the newest resort on Hawai‘i’s coveted Kona Coast, is a contemporary club that stood out from its well-established neighbors. The brand platform highlighted both the casual, welcoming personality and the high-end amenities of the community that are synonymous with the developer, Discovery Land Group.
The brand icon was inspired by Hawaiian petroglyphs found on the site, depicting a fisherman casting a net. I developed a visual language, alongside a cultural advisory team, that truly reflect the spirit of the land, its people and its deep, rich history. This was complemented by a comprehensive suite of marketing collateral and art directed photo shoots.
